Visit the old city by foot! Our B&B is situated conveniently in Old Quebec, just across the street to the Old City walls in the old port section, a few walking steps to the marina, the piers, the Place Royale, the Hotel Chateau-Frontenac, the museums and historic sites. Exploring the old city by foot from our location is no problem at all. The B&B's location also makes it easy and quick to access two extraordinary cultural events to take place all summer long in our area: Cirque du Soleil and The Image Mill, both free admission ! B&B A la Decouverte The old city is all yours to discover ! Nathalie and Paul welcome you to their home dating back to the 19th century. Located in the historic borough of Old Quebec, it was rebuilt in 1846 after the great fire of 1845 that destroyed that part of the old city of Quebec. Our location gives you an easy and convenient access to the charming streets and historic sites of Old Quebec city. Our proximity to the ViaRail train station and bus terminal makes it simple and convenient to travel to the old city. A la Decouverte is located in a safe and quiet area, a little bit away from the crowd and the busy areas yet close to everything by foot. You will enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the old port with its farmers’ market and pedestrian paths along the marina and piers. Walking along St-Paul Street nearby, you will find lovely cafes and restaurants as well as antique shops and art galleries. Our Bed and Breakfast offers a quiet and non-smoking environment. Our rooms have queen-size beds and each room has a private bathroom. We pay much attention to ensure that each room is comfortable and spotlessly clean to offer you an enjoyable stay during your visit. We bake our own bread ! Double chocolate, cheese, raisins and nuts, whole wheat. |
